What's your minimum booking size?

Our smallest package is the Sunday Lunch Tray, which serves 10. For staffed events, our practical minimum is 20 guests. For weddings and large-format events, we service 40 to 500 guests.

How far in advance should I book?

For weddings in peak season (May–October), we recommend 9–12 months in advance. Corporate events and private celebrations typically require 4–6 weeks. Last-minute bookings (under 14 days) are sometimes possible for smaller guest counts — please call.

Do you travel outside the GTA?

We regularly service the Niagara wine region, Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville and Prince Edward County. Muskoka cottage weddings are available May through October. Bookings outside a 100km radius include a fuel and staff-time surcharge.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Absolutely. Our full menu is available in gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and halal variants. We also regularly cater kosher-style, nut-free, dairy-free, and pregnancy-safe (no raw fish, no soft cheeses). Life-threatening allergies require a written conversation so we can walk you through our kitchen protocols.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold a Peel Region food-service business licence (#BUS-2008-11432), $2M commercial general liability insurance through Aviva Canada, and an AGCO caterer's endorsement for on-site alcohol service. Certificates of insurance are provided upon request for venue compliance.

Do you provide staff, or just the food?

Both options are available. Hot-box delivery (you serve) starts at our lowest price point. Full-service staffing includes chefs, servers and a dedicated on-site coordinator — typical ratio is 1 staff per 20 guests for plated service, 1 per 35 for buffet.

Can you arrange rentals (tables, china, linens)?

Yes. We partner with Simply Elegant Events (Mississauga) and Chair-Man Mills (Concord) for all rental needs. We'll build rentals into your proposal at wholesale pricing plus a 10% coordination fee.

What about alcohol service?

We hold an AGCO Special Occasion Permit endorsement, meaning we can pour beer, wine and spirits at your event. You may supply your own licensed product or we can source through our LCBO-approved wholesale partner. Non-AGCO-licensed venues require additional arrangements.

Do you offer tastings?

For weddings and corporate bookings of 80+ guests, complimentary tastings for up to four people are included. For smaller bookings, paid tastings are available at $45/person and that fee is credited back against your event invoice.

What are your deposit and cancellation terms?

We require a 25% non-refundable deposit at booking. Cancellations more than 60 days out forfeit only the deposit; 30–60 days: 50%; 14–30 days: 75%; under 14 days: 100%. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.

Are you related to the Little Caesars pizza chain?

No. We are an independent Canadian family business named after our founder's grandfather, Cesare "Piccolo Cesare" Esposito. We have no affiliation with Little Caesar Enterprises Inc. (the US-based pizza franchise), do not sell their products, and do not operate in the same category — we are full-service Italian catering, not carry-out pizza.

How do I pay?

Deposits and final balances may be paid by e-transfer (info@litlecesar.ca), business cheque, Visa or Mastercard (2.5% surcharge), or corporate net-30 invoicing with pre-approval. All transactions are in Canadian dollars and GST-registered.
