Little Caesar Catering Co. ("we", "us", "our") operates litlecesar.ca. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information in the course of providing catering services across Canada. We comply with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and any applicable provincial privacy legislation.
When you request a quote, book a tasting or contact us through this website, we collect: your name, email address, telephone number, approximate event date and location, guest count, event type, and any notes you choose to share about your booking.
We collect standard technical information when you visit this website: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate geographic region (derived from IP), and timestamps. This information is used solely for security, anti-fraud and aggregated analytics.
We use a single session cookie to remember your form progress within a visit. We do not use cross-site tracking cookies, advertising cookies or third-party pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting site functionality.
We use the information described above exclusively to: respond to your quote request, prepare and deliver a catering proposal, administer the booking contract, process payment, provide the catering service, issue invoices and GST receipts, and follow up after your event. We never sell, rent or trade personal information.
Your information is shared only with: (a) staff members directly involved in fulfilling your booking; (b) third-party suppliers necessary for your event (rental companies, venue staff) and only the minimum information required; (c) the Canada Revenue Agency for GST/HST reporting; (d) law enforcement if required by a lawful order. We never share with marketing firms or data brokers.
Quote requests that do not result in a booking are retained for 12 months, after which they are deleted. Completed booking files (contracts, invoices, dietary notes) are retained for 7 years per Canada Revenue Agency record-keeping requirements, then securely destroyed.
Under PIPEDA you have the right to: request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccuracies, request deletion (subject to legal retention obligations), and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@litlecesar.ca. We respond to all requests within 30 days.
We store personal information on encrypted servers located in Canada. Access is restricted to authorised staff via individually assigned credentials with two-factor authentication. Paper records (tasting notes, printed contracts) are stored in a locked filing cabinet in our Dundas Street office.
Our services are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes affecting how we use your existing information will be communicated via email.
